What started as a fun project to create a kids' folk album has become The Wonderfolk: a Houston band performing Americana, Indie, Folk Rock, Alt Country, and a few 90s throw-backs for good measure.
Heidi Kaim and Nick Karam started the group in 2016 and quickly added some awesome friends and musicians along the way to create a musical experience everyone loves. The Wonderfolk has played some great venues in Houston including: Heights Kids' Day of Music, Lights in the Heights, Heights Holiday Home Tour, EQ Heights, Platypus Brewery, and most recently the Houston Law Rocks Battle of the Bands at White Oak Music Hall.
The Wonderfolk are: Heidi Kaim (vocals), Nick Karam (vocals, guitar, mandolin), Andy Bost (bass), Cameron Clark (keyboard, banjo), Frans Sluiter (guitar), Bruce Godzina (percussion), and Mead Turner (vocals, fiddle).
